Responsibility
- Lead and motivate a team of logistics professionals to achieve operational and performance targets.
- Oversee end-to-end sea freight operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics processes and improve efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational challenges and enhance service quality.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and teamwork.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members to support their professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sea logistics, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of sea freight operations, customs regulations, and international trade.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage teams, drive performance, and achieve targets.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
