Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching motorcycle parts and accessories.
- Manage and lead a team of warehouse staff, ensuring high productivity, accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems to track stock levels, minimize discrepancies, and prevent shortages or excesses.
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency, space utilization, and order-picking speed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health & safety standards.
- Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance, including KPIs such as order accuracy, turnaround time, and cost savings.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions through lean warehouse management practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the automotive, motorcycle, or manufacturing industry.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, train, and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (IMS) and warehouse management software (WMS).
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems is a plus.
