Responsibility
- Process and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to confirm order details, lead times, and specifications.
- Assist in negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to optimize cost savings.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the logistics team to prevent stockouts or excess.
- Prepare and maintain procurement documentation, including reports, invoices, and agreements.
- Liaise with Mandarin-speaking suppliers to facilitate smooth communication and resolve any discrepancies.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and evaluate their reliability and pricing.
- Support the procurement manager in strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier performance reviews.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-2 years) in procurement, purchasing, or a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is mandatory; proficiency in English is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with ERP or procurement software.
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and cost-saving opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
