Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily fleet operations, including scheduling, routing, and dispatching of vehicles.
- Ensure all transport equipment and lorries are maintained in optimal condition through regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle performance, and operational costs to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.
- Enforce compliance with safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies to ensure a secure working environment.
- Manage a team of drivers and maintenance staff, providing training, performance evaluations, and mentorship.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize vehicle downtime and enhance fleet reliability.
- Liaise with vendors, service providers, and internal departments to procure parts, services, and support as needed.
- Prepare and submit reports on fleet performance, incidents, maintenance activities, and budget adherence.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in transport supervision, fleet management, or logistics operations, preferably in manufacturing or packaging industries.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team of drivers and technicians.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair procedures, and safety protocols for heavy-duty transport equipment.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to handle operational challenges efficiently.
- Proficiency in using fleet management software and basic MS Office applications (Excel, Word).
- Valid driver’s license and familiarity with local traffic regulations in Indonesia.
- Fluent in English and Indonesian (written and verbal) to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Degree or diploma in Logistics, Transportation Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
