Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive training programs for new hires and cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify training needs and align programs with business objectives.
- Utilize instructional design methodologies to create engaging, interactive, and effective learning materials.
- Manage the end-to-end training lifecycle, including needs assessment, content development, delivery, and evaluation.
- Incorporate innovative learning technologies and tools to enhance the training experience and improve knowledge retention.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making data-driven adjustments to optimize outcomes.
- Ensure training programs are scalable, consistent, and aligned with TELUS Digital’s culture and values.
- Mentor and coach training coordinators and facilitators to ensure high-quality delivery and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in training design, instructional design, or learning and development, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven expertise in developing and implementing training programs for diverse audiences, including new hires and cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate).
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and analytics tools to track and measure training effectiveness.
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement in learning and development.
