Responsibility
- Monitor and manage the order fulfillment lifecycle for bulk metal trades, from contract execution to final delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time and accurate shipment processing.
- Verify and reconcile trade documentation, including purchase orders, invoices, and shipping manifests, to ensure compliance with contractual terms.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in shipment details, quantities, or timelines, proactively mitigating potential delays or disputes.
- Maintain up-to-date records of trade transactions, inventory levels, and shipment statuses using ERP or trade management systems.
- Collaborate with finance and legal teams to ensure adherence to trade finance, customs, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce turnaround times.
- Provide regular reports and insights on trade performance, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) are a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in trade operations, logistics coordination, or supply chain management, preferably in the metals or commodities sector.
- Strong understanding of incoterms, trade finance, and international shipping regulations.
- Proficient in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a global environment.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
