Responsibility
- Process and verify end-to-end documentary trade transactions, including letters of credit (LCs), bank guarantees, and collections
- Support import and export financing operations by coordinating with banks, clients, and logistics providers
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, UCP 600, ISBP, and local banking policies
- Conduct risk assessments and due diligence for trade finance transactions to mitigate financial and operational risks
- Reconcile trade finance accounts, monitor discrepancies, and resolve operational issues promptly
- Collaborate with relationship managers and clients to provide tailored trade finance solutions
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for audits, regulatory reporting, and internal reviews
- Stay updated on global trade trends, sanctions, and regulatory changes affecting trade finance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in trade finance operations, documentary credits, or international banking (5+ years for Senior Officer)
- Strong knowledge of UCP 600, ISBP, Incoterms, and trade finance instruments (LCs, SBLCs, collections)
- Familiarity with SWIFT messaging (MT700, MT760, etc.) and trade finance platforms
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for transaction verification and risk assessment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with banking/ERP systems
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, etc.) are a plus
- Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment with minimal supervision
