Join Milestone Technologies as a Tier 1 NOC Engineer in our dynamic Network Operations Center (NOC) team based in Bali, Indonesia. As the first line of defense for network incidents, you will play a critical role in monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving network issues to ensure seamless connectivity and optimal performance for our global clients.

Responsibility
- Monitor network performance, availability, and security using industry-standard tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios).
- Respond to and resolve Tier 1 network incidents, including connectivity issues, latency, and hardware failures.
- Escalate complex issues to Tier 2/3 support teams with detailed documentation and troubleshooting steps.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as firmware updates, configuration backups, and log reviews.
- Collaborate with ISPs and vendors to diagnose and resolve external network-related problems.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and procedural updates in the ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new network devices and services.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support on a rotational basis to ensure continuous network uptime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in network operations, support, or a similar role (fresh graduates with strong networking fundamentals are encouraged to apply).
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Huawei routers/switches and networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VPN).
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Zabbix, Wireshark).
- Basic knowledge of firewalls, load balancers, and cybersecurity principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
