Responsibility
- Lead 24/7 Security Operations: Oversee real-time monitoring, threat detection, and response to ensure continuous protection of systems and data.
- Threat Intelligence Development: Research, analyze, and disseminate actionable intelligence on emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
- Incident Response Management: Coordinate and execute incident response plans, including containment, eradication, and recovery efforts.
- Security Framework Enhancement: Design and implement robust security policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with IT, DevOps, and executive teams to align security strategies with business objectives.
- Client Assurance & Reporting: Provide regular security assessments, threat briefings, and compliance reports to stakeholders.
- Tool & Technology Optimization: Evaluate and deploy cutting-edge security tools (e.g., SIEM, EDR, TI platforms) to enhance detection and response capabilities.
- Training & Awareness: Develop and deliver cybersecurity training programs to empower teams with best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: 5+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a threat intelligence or security operations leadership role.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, Kill Chain), SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar), and incident response methodologies.
- Certifications: Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or OSCP (or equivalent).
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and derive actionable insights from threat intelligence.
- Leadership & Communication: Exceptional ability to lead teams, articulate risks to non-technical stakeholders, and foster a culture of security awareness.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR) and their application in security operations.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to respond swiftly to high-pressure security incidents with critical thinking.
- Remote Collaboration: Experience working in distributed teams and leveraging remote tools for seamless coordination.
