Responsibility
- Lead and manage a 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) to monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats.
- Develop and implement threat intelligence strategies to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- Oversee incident response procedures, ensuring rapid and effective resolution of security breaches.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate security best practices into organizational processes.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and trends, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Train and mentor security analysts and team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to cybersecurity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence tools, SIEM systems, and incident response frameworks.
- Experience in managing SOC operations and leading security teams.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions in high-stakes situations.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
