Responsibility
- Assist licensed therapists in delivering personalized therapy programs to patients, including physical, occupational, or speech therapy.
- Support patients in performing prescribed exercises and activities to improve mobility, strength, and independence.
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment, ensuring a safe and clean environment for therapy sessions.
- Monitor and document patient progress, providing feedback to therapists for treatment adjustments.
- Help patients with transfers, positioning, and mobility aids as directed by the therapy team.
- Educate patients and caregivers on proper techniques for home exercises and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes in compliance with hospital policies.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation, or a related field (preferred).
- Prior experience as a Therapy Assistant, Rehabilitation Aide, or in a similar healthcare support role is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Basic knowledge of therapeutic techniques, medical terminology, and patient safety protocols.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Physical stamina to assist with patient mobility and perform repetitive tasks.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
