Responsibility
- Assist licensed therapists in conducting individual and group therapy sessions for clients with varying needs.
- Prepare and organize therapy equipment, materials, and treatment areas to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
- Provide hands-on support to clients during exercises, mobility training, and daily living activities under professional supervision.
- Monitor and document client progress, behaviors, and responses to therapy, reporting observations to the therapy team.
- Help clients with transfers, positioning, and ambulation using proper techniques and assistive devices.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in therapy spaces, including sanitizing equipment and ensuring a clutter-free environment.
- Offer emotional support and encouragement to clients, fostering a positive and motivating atmosphere.
- Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to implement personalized care plans.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; certification in healthcare or therapy assistance is a plus.
- Prior experience in a healthcare, rehabilitation, or elderly care setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Physical stamina and ability to assist with lifting, transferring, or supporting clients as needed.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to working with individuals with diverse needs.
- Basic knowledge of therapeutic techniques, safety protocols, and infection control practices.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
