Responsibility
- Assist therapists in preparing treatment areas, equipment, and materials for sessions.
- Support clients during therapy by guiding movements, providing encouragement, and ensuring safety.
- Document patient progress, observations, and feedback for therapist review.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy spaces and tools.
- Help clients with mobility, transfers, and positioning as directed by the therapist.
- Educate patients and families on exercises or techniques for home practice.
- Monitor and report any changes in a client’s condition to the supervising therapist.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement individualized care plans.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or a related healthcare field.
- Prior experience as a therapy aide, assistant, or in a similar support role (preferred but not required).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients and team members.
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to individual needs.
- Physical ability to assist with client mobility and handle equipment.
- Basic knowledge of therapeutic techniques and terminology.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if needed.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian) are a plus.
