Responsibility
- Curate and maintain an extensive collection of premium whiskeys and spirits, ensuring quality and variety.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of bartenders and staff to deliver exceptional service and craftsmanship.
- Develop and implement innovative cocktail menus and whiskey tasting experiences tailored to guest preferences.
- Oversee daily bar operations, including inventory management, budgeting, and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the resort’s culinary and events teams to create seamless, high-end guest experiences.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, distillers, and industry experts to source exclusive products.
- Host and organize whiskey appreciation events, masterclasses, and private tastings for VIP guests.
- Monitor industry trends and introduce new concepts to keep the Whiskey Library at the forefront of luxury beverage experiences.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-end bar or luxury hospitality setting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Extensive knowledge of whiskey, spirits, and mixology, with a passion for sharing this expertise with guests and staff.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong business acumen, including budget management, inventory control, and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Certification in mixology, sommelier, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the role.
