Responsibility
- Lead and manage the test engineering team to achieve departmental goals in productivity, quality, and yield.
- Develop and implement test strategies, methodologies, and processes to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of test engineering with production and R&D.
- Monitor and analyze test data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, to enhance operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and professional growth.
- Prepare and present reports on test engineering performance, challenges, and solutions to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in test engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, test equipment, and quality control systems.
- Proven track record in improving productivity, yield, and quality in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, DOE, FMEA).
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
