Responsibility
- Design and develop high-precision linear motion stages, gantries, and actuator modules using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prototyping to validate design concepts and optimize performance.
- Perform detailed engineering calculations, including stress analysis, tolerance stacking, and material selection.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test reports.
- Support the manufacturing process by providing technical guidance and troubleshooting design-related issues.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in design processes.
- Ensure compliance with international standards and regulations relevant to mechanical engineering and product safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in precision engineering or automation.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, including mechanics, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and concisely.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO, ANSI, or DIN is an advantage.
