Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize MES and automation systems to improve manufacturing performance, quality, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in PLC, SCADA, HMI, and other automation platforms to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for electrical and automation equipment to ensure long-term reliability.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, ISO, and other regulatory standards in all automation and electrical systems.
- Lead or support capital projects related to automation upgrades, system integrations, and new technology deployments.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols for electrical and automated systems in accordance with industry best practices.
- Provide technical training and support to operations staff on new systems and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical and automation engineering within a manufacturing environment, preferably in FMCG, pharmaceuticals, or nutrition.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider), SCADA systems, and MES platforms.
- Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP) and motor control systems.
- Experience with process optimization, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (GMP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 9001/13485) in a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with fluency in English (written and spoken).
