As an OSM Group Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our product lifecycle, helping us maintain the reputation for excellence that our clients expect. This is an urgent hiring need, and we are looking for candidates who can hit the ground running, bringing both technical precision and a collaborative spirit to our engineering department.
Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for new product features.
- Perform functional, regression, and system integration testing to ensure product reliability.
- Identify, document, and track software or hardware defects using standard bug-tracking systems.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to analyze root causes of issues and propose effective solutions.
- Create detailed test reports summarizing findings and providing recommendations for quality improvement.
- Monitor and analyze test results to ensure adherence to company and industry quality standards.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on testability and product design requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- At least 1-2 years of proven experience in a Test Engineer, Quality Assurance, or similar technical role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in testing methodologies, test automation tools, and defect tracking software.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Knowledge of standard industry compliance and quality assurance certifications is an advantage.
