Responsibility
- Lead and manage industrial automation projects from conceptualization, design, development, and testing through to implementation and commissioning.
- Design, program, and optimize PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems for various manufacturing processes.
- Integrate, configure, program, and maintain advanced industrial robot systems (e.g., KUKA, FANUC, ABB) to enhance production efficiency and quality.
- Conduct systematic troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for automation system breakdowns, minimizing production downtime.
- Develop and implement robust preventive and predictive maintenance programs for automation equipment to ensure maximum uptime and operational reliability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Production, R&D, Quality Assurance, and IT, to identify automation opportunities and implement innovative solutions.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including electrical schematics, control logic diagrams, operational manuals, and project reports.
- Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance staff on automation system functionality and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, Robotics, or a closely related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of practical experience in industrial automation, with hands-on expertise in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi) and industrial robot systems.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering automation projects within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex automation system issues efficiently.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, P&ID diagrams, and control system architectural drawings.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems, vision systems, and various industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, capable of collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing setting.
