Bosch is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our dynamic engineering division in the beautiful location of Bali. Responsibility
- Set up, configure, and calibrate functional test systems for diverse product lines based on test specifications (PAV) provided by the PTE team.
- Collaborate closely with Product Test Engineering (PTE) and development teams to resolve test setup challenges and optimize testing processes.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues on production-line test equipment.
- Analyze test data and yields, identifying trends or anomalies to support root-cause investigations.
- Document test setups, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and test reports with high accuracy.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase test automation coverage and reduce cycle times.
- Ensure compliance with international quality, safety, and environmental standards during testing procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in testing, test system setup, or quality engineering.
- Strong understanding of functional test methodologies and translating test specifications (PAV) into functional setups.
- Familiarity with test software and programming concepts (e.g., LabVIEW, Python, C/C++, or PLC programming).
- Solid knowledge of electrical circuits, diagnostic tools, and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, digital multimeters).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively alongside global cross-functional teams.
