Join a dynamic team as a Senior Project Engineer specializing in Network Infrastructure and Firewall Security in the heart of Bali. Our client, a leading technology solutions provider, is seeking a skilled professional to drive critical infrastructure projects across high-profile client sites in the region.
Based in Badung, Bali, you will work on cutting-edge network and security implementations, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions for enterprise clients. This role offers a competitive base salary up to $6,500 USD/month, plus performance-based completion bonuses, and the opportunity to work on transformative projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibility
- Design, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade network infrastructures, including LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless solutions.
- Deploy and manage next-generation firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA) to ensure network security and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess client requirements and develop tailored network architectures.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability audits to identify and mitigate security threats.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide 24/7 incident response for critical systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and SOPs.
- Lead project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Stay current with emerging networking and cybersecurity trends and recommend innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; certifications (e.g., CCNP, CISSP, CEH) are a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on firewall administration and security.
- Hands-on expertise with Cisco, Juniper, or Fortinet networking hardware and security appliances.
- Proven ability to design and deploy scalable, high-availability network solutions for enterprise clients.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPN technologies, and zero-trust security models.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to client sites in Bali (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, etc.) as project demands require.
