Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and execution of comprehensive test strategies for digital wealth platforms, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analysts to define test requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.
- Identify, document, and track defects using industry-standard tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and drive resolution with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR) and internal quality benchmarks for financial platforms.
- Mentor and guide QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.
- Analyze test results to provide actionable insights and recommendations for product enhancements.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in fintech, digital banking, and QA methodologies to drive innovation in testing practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (Test Manager, QA Lead, or similar).
- Proven expertise in testing digital banking, wealth management, or fintech platforms, with a strong understanding of financial workflows.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR) and their impact on testing financial applications.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment, with a high degree of self-motivation and discipline.
