Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated end-to-end test scripts using Playwright.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to define automation strategies and test coverage plans.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality feedback.
- Analyze automated test results, identify bugs, and work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Perform API and regression testing to maintain high software standards before major releases.
- Maintain and optimize existing test automation frameworks for maximum speed and efficiency.
- Document and track software defects thoroughly and provide regular quality metrics to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience working with the Playwright automation framework.
- Strong coding skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, modern testing practices, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience setting up and managing CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Jenkins.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) and version control systems like Git.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English to collaborate effectively in a remote/hybrid team setting.
