Responsibility
- Supervise and lead all daily terminal and warehouse operations, including receiving, sorting, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Plan, allocate, and monitor resources effectively to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Ensure strict compliance with DSV’s operational procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Oversee inventory management and stock accuracy, conducting regular checks and resolving discrepancies.
- Train, mentor, and motivate a team of terminal operators, fostering a culture of safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.
- Implement and monitor performance metrics, identifying areas for optimization and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., transport, customer service) and external partners to ensure smooth logistics coordination.
- Operate and maintain terminal equipment safely and efficiently, arranging for necessary repairs or maintenance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in terminal, warehouse, or logistics operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or specialist role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and general logistics software.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a logistics or manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite).
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Relevant certifications in logistics, supply chain, or forklift operation are a plus.
