Responsibility
- Prepare and submit comprehensive tender documents, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and competitiveness.
- Conduct cost estimations and financial analysis to develop competitive pricing strategies.
- Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to optimize project costs.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers, engineers, and legal advisors, to gather necessary information and ensure alignment.
- Review tender requirements and specifications to ensure all submissions meet client and regulatory standards.
- Maintain a database of tender opportunities, deadlines, and submission statuses.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients and vendors to secure favorable agreements.
- Provide post-tender support, including contract finalization and handover to project teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in tendering, procurement, or a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of tender processes, contract law, and procurement regulations.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and tender management software.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia or Malay is a plus.
