Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, verify measurements, and ensure compliance with contracts.
- Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Develop and maintain detailed cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial tracking for multiple projects.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to align financial plans with design and execution.
- Resolve contractual disputes and claims, ensuring fair and timely resolutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and regulatory changes affecting project budgets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in large-scale construction projects.
- Proficient in cost estimation software (e.g., Candy, WinQS, or Primavera) and MS Excel (advanced level).
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), and FIDIC standards.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali (or already based in the region).
