Responsibility
- Oversee and coordinate all finishing activities, including flooring, painting, tiling, and carpentry, to ensure high-quality execution.
- Inspect work progress and finished products to verify compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
- Manage and mentor on-site finishing teams, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to align finishing works with project timelines and budgets.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact project delivery.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, implementing corrective measures as needed.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, documenting work completed, challenges faced, and solutions implemented.
- Coordinate the procurement and delivery of finishing materials, ensuring availability and quality.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction finishing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven expertise in managing finishing works for residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
