Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with budgetary constraints.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, verify measurements, and assess material requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
- Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best terms and pricing.
- Maintain detailed records of project expenditures, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.
- Identify potential cost savings and value engineering opportunities without compromising quality.
- Prepare monthly cost reports and financial forecasts for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost estimation techniques.
- Proficiency in using quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to liaise with stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations and standards is a plus.
