Responsibility
- Assist in preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents for construction projects.
- Support senior quantity surveyors in contract administration, including variations and claims.
- Conduct site visits and measurements to verify progress and material quantities.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to align project budgets with design specifications.
- Analyze procurement strategies and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of project expenditures, cash flows, and financial reports.
- Assist in risk assessment and value engineering to optimize project costs.
- Prepare progress reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of construction costing, BOQ preparation, and contract law.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, or BIM software (e.g., Revit) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in English.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations is advantageous.
