Responsibility
- Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and overheads.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide financial insights to support project planning and decision-making.
- Negotiate and administer contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure favorable terms and compliance.
- Monitor project expenditures and track budget performance, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
- Perform risk assessments and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to align financial plans with design and execution.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and industry standards in Bali.
- Resolve disputes related to payments, variations, and claims through effective negotiation and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in large-scale construction projects.
- Proven expertise in cost estimation software (e.g., Candy, WinQS, or Primavera).
- Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement, and tendering processes.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Professional certification (e.g., MRICS, AIQS) is highly advantageous.
