Responsibility
- Manage and organize patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Coordinate appointments, admissions, and follow-ups for patients and healthcare providers.
- Handle front-desk operations, including greeting visitors, answering inquiries, and directing calls.
- Prepare and process administrative documents, such as consent forms, referrals, and insurance paperwork.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of office and medical supplies, placing orders as needed.
- Support data entry and reporting tasks to streamline clinic or hospital operations.
- Liaise between patients, medical staff, and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication.
- Contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies in administrative workflows.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field is a plus.
- Proven administrative or clerical experience (internships or entry-level roles accepted).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic data entry tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality (HIPAA or similar standards).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
