Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Assist in the installation, calibration, and testing of new equipment or systems.
- Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and tools, and coordinate with procurement for replenishment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, industry standards, and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance in detailed logs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production schedules and logistical operations.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff or new hires as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a technician in manufacturing, logistics, or a similar industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of machinery, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, standing, or working in confined spaces.
- Familiarity with safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO) is a plus.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
