Responsibility
- Assist in the procurement of raw materials, equipment, and services to support manufacturing and logistics operations.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely restocking.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and contracts with accuracy.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-effective and high-quality suppliers.
- Track order statuses and resolve any delays or discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain organized records of purchases, agreements, and expenditures.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure budget compliance and cost efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-2 years) in purchasing, procurement, or a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and procurement software.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
