Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in production equipment.
- Fabricate and repair machine parts using welding, machining, and other fabrication techniques.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide training and guidance to junior technicians and support staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance, fabrication, or repair of industrial machinery.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical circuits.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
