Responsibility
- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) processes, from prototyping to full-scale production, ensuring seamless transitions and adherence to timelines.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, including assembly, testing, and quality control, to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with R&D, design, and production teams to translate product specifications into manufacturable designs.
- Conduct root cause analysis for manufacturing defects and implement corrective actions to improve product reliability.
- Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and automation solutions to streamline production workflows.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma).
- Provide technical training and support to production staff to maintain high operational standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, NPI, or production operations, preferably in the technology or electronics sector.
- Proven expertise in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
- Hands-on experience with tooling design, DFM (Design for Manufacturability), and DFA (Design for Assembly).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IPC-A-610) is highly desirable.
