Responsibility
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and site conditions to prepare detailed cost estimates for concrete projects.
- Calculate quantities and costs for materials, including concrete, rebar, and forms.
- Estimate labor and equipment costs based on project requirements and market rates.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate and competitive bidding.
- Prepare and present cost estimates and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor and update cost estimates as project scopes or conditions change.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project costs for future reference.
- Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and construction techniques to improve estimation accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Concrete Estimator or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost estimation techniques.
- Proficiency in using estimation software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar).
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards in Bali.
