Responsibility
- Conduct daily inspections and checks on building services, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and record meter readings for utility services (water, electricity, gas) and report anomalies promptly.
- Operate and maintain building management systems (BMS) and other automated control systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment or system upgrades.
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation of all maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in building maintenance, utilities management, or a related technical field (Senior Technician role requires 5+ years).
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and automated controls is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with a proactive approach to tasks.
- Basic computer skills for data entry, reporting, and documentation.
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency calls as needed.
