Join YSQ International Pte Ltd, a leading player in the tobacco manufacturing industry, as our Quality Manager in Batam, Indonesia. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on quality professional to relocate from Bali (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung) and build a world-class Quality function from the ground up in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.
In this critical role, you will lead all aspects of quality assurance, compliance, and continuous improvement for our tobacco production processes. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to implement robust quality systems, conduct audits, and drive operational excellence while ensuring strict adherence to international standards and regulations.

Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems for tobacco manufacturing operations
- Lead and conduct internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards, local regulations, and company policies
- Establish and monitor key quality performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement
- Manage the quality control team, providing training and development to ensure consistent product quality
- Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence
- Oversee product testing protocols and ensure all tobacco products meet stringent quality and safety standards
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Drive quality culture initiatives and promote best practices across all manufacturing processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Food Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of quality management experience in manufacturing, preferably in tobacco or FMCG industries
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP, and other relevant quality standards
- Proven experience leading quality teams and implementing quality improvement initiatives
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret complex quality data and metrics
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) with ability to train and mentor teams
- Certification in quality management (e.g., CQM, CQE, Six Sigma) is highly desirable
- Willingness to relocate to Batam, Indonesia from Bali (relocation package provided)
