Responsibility
- Lead the technical strategy and roadmap for ABB’s Energy Industries solutions in the region, ensuring alignment with global standards and local market needs.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of advanced technical solutions for energy infrastructure projects, including renewable energy integration and grid modernization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and project management, to deliver high-value solutions that meet client expectations and business objectives.
- Drive innovation by identifying emerging technologies and trends in the energy sector, and propose actionable insights to enhance ABB’s competitive edge.
- Manage client relationships, providing expert technical consultation and ensuring the successful delivery of projects from conception to completion.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing technical team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and ABB’s quality assurance protocols in all technical deliverables.
- Represent ABB at industry conferences, workshops, and stakeholder meetings to promote thought leadership and expand the company’s influence in the energy sector.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in technical leadership roles within the energy, automation, or industrial sectors, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects.
- Deep expertise in energy systems, power generation, grid automation, or renewable energy technologies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in international or multicultural settings, with a global mindset and adaptability to diverse business environments.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools for technical project execution.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian) are a significant advantage.
