Responsibility
- Conduct thorough investigations of product failures using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) to identify underlying issues in electronic components and systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Document findings and prepare detailed reports on failure analysis, including recommendations for improvements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reliability, and manufacturing processes.
- Assist in the development and validation of test procedures to ensure product performance and durability.
- Maintain accurate records of failure analysis activities and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in failure analysis and electronics manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in failure analysis, quality control, or a similar role within electronics manufacturing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for failure analysis (e.g., microscopes, oscilloscopes, multimeters).
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of electronic components, circuit design, and manufacturing processes is a plus.
