Responsibility
- Oversee day-to-day operations of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, technicians, and contractors to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and quality control checks to mitigate potential issues.
- Liaise with clients, government agencies, and stakeholders to provide progress updates and resolve technical challenges.
- Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and contract documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Implement sustainable and innovative engineering solutions to optimize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
- Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the project team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; professional certification (e.g., PE, CEng) is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or resident engineer role.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects, such as roads, bridges, or utilities.
- Strong knowledge of local and international engineering standards, building codes, and construction practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to manage diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Primavera) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
