Responsibility

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets for Shimadzu’s product portfolio in assigned territories.
  • Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions for potential and existing clients to showcase product features and benefits.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales materials, including brochures, case studies, and technical proposals.
  • Provide post-sales technical support, troubleshooting, and customer training to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM tools.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries, including laboratories, research institutions, and manufacturing plants.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in Shimadzu’s products and industry trends to provide expert advice and solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Physics, or a related technical field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the scientific instruments, laboratory equipment, or analytical solutions industry.
  • Strong understanding of chromatography, spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, or other analytical techniques is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region (Bali) and occasionally to other parts of the Philippines or Southeast Asia.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
