Responsibility
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the marine and offshore engineering sectors in Bali and surrounding regions.
- Conduct technical sales visits, presentations, and product demonstrations to potential and existing clients.
- Prepare and submit detailed technical and commercial proposals tailored to client specifications and project requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions align with client needs and industry standards.
- Support vessel inspections, installations, and commissioning of marine/offshore equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality protocols.
- Provide comprehensive crew training on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of technical systems.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including shipowners, offshore contractors, and engineering firms.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or a similar role within the marine, offshore, or oil & gas industries.
- Strong technical knowledge of marine systems, offshore equipment, or vessel operations.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
- Ability to travel frequently within Indonesia and occasionally internationally for client meetings and site visits.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with maritime regulations, classification societies (e.g., ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s Register), and industry standards.
