As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will serve as the vital link between our advanced HVAC systems and clients’ needs, providing expert technical support to the sales team. Responsibility

  • Provide technical sales support to the sales team, including equipment selection, system sizing, and performance analysis using Carrier’s proprietary tools.
  • Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and proposals to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, quotations, and equipment schedules for HVAC systems tailored to client needs.
  • Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for clients, architects, and consultants to highlight Carrier’s innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure seamless execution from design to installation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, local regulations, and Carrier’s product portfolio to provide competitive and compliant solutions.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during pre-sales and post-sales phases.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC, technical sales, or system design, preferably in commercial or industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and energy-efficient solutions.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or Carrier’s selection software (e.g., Hourly Analysis Program).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in Indonesian is a plus.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and local building codes.
  • Proven track record in preparing quotations, proposals, and technical documentation.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Indonesia for client meetings and site visits.
