Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on plant machinery, equipment, and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities during planned shutdowns or low-production periods to avoid operational disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards, including OSHA and local workplace safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts inventory using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and calibration of new machinery and equipment, ensuring seamless integration into existing operations.
- Conduct predictive and preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan and reduce unexpected breakdowns.
- Provide technical support and training to operators and junior technicians on equipment operation, safety protocols, and basic troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, or engineering roles within a manufacturing, food processing, or industrial environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, including motors, pumps, conveyors, and PLC-controlled equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), personal protective equipment (PPE), and hazard communication.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with CMMS or maintenance tracking software.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
