Responsibility
- Operate, program, and maintain CNC machines (e.g., milling, turning, grinding) to produce high-precision components.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM models to ensure accurate machining processes.
- Optimize CNC programs for efficiency, reducing waste and improving production speed without compromising quality.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure components meet strict tolerances and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CNC machinery, tooling, and software.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement process improvements and lean manufacturing principles.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on CNC operations, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Maintain detailed records of production data, machine performance, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining, programming, and operation.
- Proficiency in G-code, CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, Fusion 360), and CNC control systems (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens).
- Strong understanding of metallurgy, tooling, and machining techniques for various materials (e.g., aluminum, steel, titanium).
- Experience with precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM) and quality assurance processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and engineering specifications.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, German) are a plus.
