Responsibility
- Lead research and development initiatives for the OKI 3 Paper Mill, ensuring alignment with industry standards and company goals.
- Oversee the commissioning and start-up phases of the paper mill, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Develop and implement innovative product solutions to enhance quality, efficiency, and sustainability.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to optimize mill performance.
- Conduct technical feasibility studies and provide data-driven recommendations for process improvements.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations in all R&D activities.
- Prepare and present technical reports and findings to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical R&D, preferably in the paper or pulp industry.
- Proven track record in leading research projects and driving innovation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with paper mill operations, commissioning, and start-up processes.
- Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations in manufacturing.
