Responsibility
- Oversee daily maintenance, inspection, and repair activities for the bus fleet to ensure operational safety and compliance.
- Perform complex diagnostic tests on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to identify and resolve faults.
- Supervise workshop technicians and support staff to ensure work is completed according to safety standards and turnaround timelines.
- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to manage spare parts inventory and equipment maintenance schedules.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, including maintenance logs and repair reports for audit and compliance purposes.
- Implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize vehicle downtime and optimize asset life cycle.
- Adhere strictly to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) protocols within the workshop environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Nitec in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance or heavy vehicle workshop environments.
- Proficiency in using modern diagnostic tools and equipment for vehicle troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and lead by example.
- Strong commitment to safety standards and quality control processes.
- Flexibility to support shift rotations to meet operational workshop requirements.
