Responsibility
- Technical Leadership: Spearhead the design and implementation of advanced cooling solutions for Cloud & Service Provider datacenters, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practices.
- Project Oversight: Lead the technical scope of C&SP projects during tendering, proposal development, and execution phases, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Innovation & Optimization: Drive continuous improvement in cooling efficiency, sustainability, and scalability for high-performance datacenter environments.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with sales, engineering, and customer teams to translate technical requirements into actionable solutions.
- Solution Architecture: Develop and present technical proposals, including ROI analyses, energy efficiency metrics, and compliance with global standards (e.g., ASHRAE, Uptime Institute).
- Team Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends in cloud cooling technologies, including liquid cooling, AI-driven optimization, and edge computing solutions.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all solutions adhere to local and international regulations, safety standards, and Schneider Electricâs sustainability commitments.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in datacenter cooling are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years in datacenter cooling systems, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role for Cloud/Service Provider projects.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of cooling technologies (e.g., chilled water, DX, liquid cooling, free cooling) and their application in hyperscale datacenters.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and service provider requirements (e.g., colocation, edge computing).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to engage with C-level stakeholders and technical teams.
- Certifications: Preferred certifications include CDCP (Certified Datacenter Professional), PMP, or LEED AP.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex cooling challenges and propose innovative, cost-effective solutions.
- Language: Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia) are advantageous.
