Responsibility
- Assist senior technicians in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues in production equipment.
- Perform precision cutting of metal sheets (As) and pipes using appropriate tools and machinery.
- Operate grinding machines to sharpen or reshape blades, taps, and other cutting tools.
- Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment to identify wear and tear or potential failures.
- Support the assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of mechanical components.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Document maintenance activities and report any irregularities to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in mechanical engineering is a plus.
- Proven experience (1+ years) in a similar technical helper or assistant role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Basic knowledge of metalworking tools, including grinders, cutters, and measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret simple technical drawings or schematics.
- Strong physical stamina and dexterity to handle manual tasks and operate machinery.
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Willingness to work in shifts or overtime as required.
